I've seen many funnel clouds and a few tornadoes in the 7 years that I lived in Lincoln, Nebraska. I never saw a "green" sky when I saw a funnel or tornado.I have seen many "orangy" tinted skies, :whitish" skies, and gray skies though.

yeah there was this one storm next to me on may 24th, it was producing hail up to quarter size, and i didn't see that weird sky everybody mentions.

i know the sky doesn't have to be green because there was one in my city and the sky was not green. and it's hard to tell what the clouds are REALLY doing in a video because it's not real life. a tornado warning doesn't mean there's going to be one. my area gets warnings sometimes, but tornadoes never actually come.

yeah i havent seen one in real life either, which could be a good thing! haha. although, apparently there was a funnel cloud in my city last month. i actually figured it was a tornado producing day, but for the two hours i went inside, i ended up missing it lol

green supposedly means hail from what i've read, but i don't think i've ever seen green skies when i've ever seen hail lol |
