Good looking Ian took Jim Morrison's place some time back in a Doors European tour. Pretty good when I saw them. But then again I was off my face on acid at the time, can't even recall where it was, now that I come to think of it.

I had the opportunity to tattoo Ian Asbury a few years ago and he was very humble. He was on tour with the Doors at the time and was in Chicago. He had his 10 yr old son with him and he seemed to be a good dad..his son was well behaved and cool. Without going into detail, it was a great experience listening to his stories. I refused payment, it was a small piece anyway, and he said,"No way...your an artist and gotta get paid!". after arguing with him he finally smiled and agreed, after all.

Hey Kids, Saw The Doors of the 21st Century in Vancouver, my home time, before John Densmore through a hissy and killed the name. Have ALWAYS been a huge Cult fan and of course Doors fan. It was July 2005 and it still is one of the best nights I've ever had. Ian Astbury was beautiful. Himself with a side of Jim... Love.
