Ive been trying to get the town to fix my road for all the years Ive lived here and can not afford to take the town to court or fix what they have done to me and my nieghbors. NO MORE LIES

My driveways been washed away more times than I care to count. And the town does nadda. They would rather fight, than step up and be responsible for what they have created. Nice town if you own a 4x4. The garage accross the street has been taxed as a 1 1/2 story colonial for 12 years, even after the recent accessment. How do they get away with that? Assessment w/no photo shown?

Even the towns own attorney says the town should do something on Leigh Ave becuase they did nothing when they were suppose to. Thinking of buying a house in Thomaston? This video shows a small fraction of the problems the town is neglecting. I need a 4x4 to get to my house

Ill bet they have a place to turn around, Ill bet there's sidewalks and safe passage for 2 vehicles going oposite directions, stop signs where there suppose to be, drainage. Leigh Ave is a NIGHTMARE compared to that road. Leigh Ave is the most irresposible thing Thomaston is hiding.

The town allowed the subdivision on Leigh Ave but never followed through to make sure it was done according to the plans. Now the property owners are stuck with the problems. I saw the house at the begining of the video. You dont find houses like that here on Leigh Ave.

Pass the buck onto the property owners or next in office. The town wont plow it, but will use private property to turn around and place the snow. THERES NO PLACE ON LEIGH AVE TO EVEN TURN AROUND. The buses and every person and vehicle that comes up the road has to use PRIVATE PROPERTY.

After the flood where a foot of water covered Leigh Ave side to side, Maura {1st selectman} said she "promised" she would deal with it. still NO DRAINAGE ON LEIGH AVE. Ill bet that street has drainage. Now leigh ave is slated for improvements 6 years from now. As if this will actually happen. I DONT BELIEVE THE TOWN ANY MORE No sidewalks, No drainage and it all runs into Chapman lumbers property. Lets face it Maura, you have no intentions or doing anything. IM TIERED OF BEING LIED TO.

WOW that road is a dream compared to Leigh Ave. 3 layers of asphalt are missing and many 12-20" holes approx 8" deep. That must make Leigh Ave a -187.
