I wonder if there are any old geezers in SQ for this that were around when Johnny Cash played the joint. They'd be like... what the fuck!

I like metallica's old stuff, but hands down St. Anger was my favorite album, and one the albums from any band band on a very short list that I've liked the entire Album the 1st time I ever listened to it.

No, but I believe people would question the fact that Lars was playing on garbage cans, the bass was recorded by the producer, the band went from Master of Puppets kind of solos to no solos, the lyrics sound like a fucking goth's "hang myself :(" the drumming style went from metal to rock (symbol symbol snare, symbol symbol snare) and the vocals suck. But let's check out the logic under no guitar solos, you got Kirk Hammett, one of the best guitarists in history...playing power chords, M'kay.
