L. Ron Hubbard? Yeah...I remember him. He wrote science fiction. I read a couple of his books. It was years ago...but I remember they were OK....not particularly good...but OK. He reckoned he could "invent" a religion. He was completely serious. He said there was no end to the gullibility of Americans. I thought that was a bit sad. After all, he was an American. But he said he could do it. Based on nothing but his ideas! He said he'd make it up...and they'd believe.
