Well if they went to a small atm there wouldn't be a camera in the atm but they usually have them inside building that has a camera. So they wear disguises.Wigs beards glasses etc.A good disguise these days is a muslim woman.

Avoid scams All spam emails/unsolicited phone calls/letters and faxes are scams. As a general rule - ANYTHING involving Western Union/money gram = Scam. If you sell stuff online.. Accept Cash or paypal only. If you buy stuff online.. Use Paypal only. Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is! NEVER(ever) give out your personal information to strangers online or offline! Do not click on a link embedded within any potentially suspicious email. Beware of Fake Checks.

They'd assume the police would never catch onto something like that - I mean the card and pin number could have come from anywhere. However, if they did look at the tapes, then they would see :D

Ok, hold on. Clever scam..but I have a question. Wouldn't the camera at the ATM..the REAL ATM record the hustlers' face as they withdrew the money? In other words wouldn't that be a big flaw in the scam? That there is a BIG chance they would get caught? I know this is for viewing purposes... to warn us and all; but if they were for real the ATM camera would catch their face and they'd be off to jail....right?

Tips to help protect against identity theft: * Check credit card statements, bank documents and financial reports every month for unauthorized activity. * Protect Social Security numbers. Don't carry Social Security cards in wallets or write the number on a check. * Don't provide personal information over the phone or the internet. * Never click on links sent in unsolicited email messages. * Keep personal information in a secure place at home. ALL SPAM EMAILS = SCAM!!! Say NO to wire transfers!!
