The Hedges estate would be well advised to release all of this video instead of repackaging the same music into greatest hits albums year after year.

Michael Hedges never had a Facebook page before. So I decided to start my own. Just go ahead and type in "Michael Hedges" in the search box and you'll see the page: "Michael Hedges: The Guitarist from Another Planet". I want to see if Hedges's fanbase is still out there somewhere. Long live Hedges!

Years ago, I had the tape - Windham Hill Sampler frm 1984 that opened with Aerial Boundaries, and I loved it. I've been seeking some guitar music to listen to on my iPod at work and instantly thought of that song. I had no idea he died. I just purchased everything on iTunes they had. Such talent lost.

Charlotte NC Here. My wife and I had the great pleasure of seeing this incredible man play live at Spirit Square months before he died. For me, this song is the ultimate Michael. I consider this his MASTERPIECE. RIP Michael.

A few years after that, '87 or '88, my friend & I went to return a video. While waiting, they had a Windham Hill sampler video playing on the display TV. Here's this white cornrowed guy with this freakish instrument (accoustic harp-guitar), drawing out sounds I never would've conceived w/mesmerizing motion, eyes closed w/that deep, contented smile, his body just grooving w/the sound from head to foot. We just stood there in awe and watched and listened. My 1st time hearing Michael. Sublime.
