I saw these guys open the Atlanta Pop Festival on Friday, July 3, 1970, and they torn it up. The next three bands got unmercifully booed with a very long chant of, "WE WANT THE ALLMANS!!!"

I saw them at Cobo also, in 1973. Bought all the tickets I could and told my friends, "You're goin'!" Best concert ever... Berry had just been replaced, but they didn't try to bring another guitar in for Duane. Brought a keyboard player instead. Amazing drumming |
