Correction - obviously Nan is a term for grandmother.

Tir n'a n'Og - The land of eternal youth (and) life. So it's about a young girl (called Nan?) - not an old woman as one viewer suggested.

Poetry without words. My favourite interpretation: a student follows her mentor-musical wizard who goes off with his own mentor-wizard (who the student recognises as someone she loves when he takes off his mask). They have left her to magically transform themselves into birds/higher beings. They fly away, leaving the student appreciating that she is loved but has much to learn about flying. Beautifully evocative music. A masterpiece with only one word: Hey!

Saya Aensland, you say it already. I saw exactly the same thing. that's why the little girl stops trying to beat him, when he took the mask off. my english is not too good, but i'll give the director 5 stars for this one.

Interestingly enough, the crow is a symbol of death as well as transformation. (Known as a shape shifter.) Crows are also known for stealing things. :) Some Aboriginal people believe that the crow is the entrance to the supernatural.
