Well, pleased to meet you, Eddie Howell! I remember hearing your distinctive voice on the radio, loving the strange (reverse echo?)effects on the vocals, wondering who it was and hearing the DJ say "That was Long, Long Story, by Eddie Howell", and not being able to get hold of a copy of the single! Saw you sing it on Magpie (I think) a few weeks later, sans effects but still sounding good, looking cool with a top hat tipped back on your head... Still haven't got a copy, can anyone upload it..?

ah well Eddie, perhaps I believed what was written at the time & it is over 30 years ago now! As for Freddie not singing, doesn't he do almost all of the backing vocals?
