beccapgh07: It´s the other way around. The IRA and Sinn Féin were formed because of the British occupation of Ireland.

hey Quessir i agree with your views on what the government has done for the Irish language= fuck all, it is time things changed. Especially for the people who cannot afford to visit establishments like the Gaelitacht. I had an amazing experience there, I grew to love, and appreciate my native tongue.

yes i agree no one should make fun about soldiers who die abroad in the middle east, but the Americans helped considerably at the end of ww2 which really crushed german resistance, along with russia who wiped the rest of them out We will always have Our country, Our Heritage, and Culture. I think in Dublin Our no1 language should be Irish, cos that was taken away from the people for 7 centuries due to Occupation.

As a Brit and a Catholic i can see why people in the Irish Republic are bitter towards the monarchy , what i can not fuckin stAnd is the wankers that gloat when one of our boys fall in Iraq or Afgan .. Think back , if it wasn`t for our boys we would ALL be speaking German . Think present , Al qaida fucked the city where you Irish boys call home .
