That bass sounds excellent. I just wish he would play something other than scales, lol. Play a little jazz, perhaps? ;P

Yesh its a very common misconception that playing with two fingers or double pluck is faster. That is because you can with much less knowledge of playing a bass and play 32nd notes with ease. But note that you can also double pick aswell going up and down in a fast succession so its equal in speed. Its generally tone, most bassists like myself use pick for some song where its a rhythm line and we need to come out, or a harder more melodic style and we need more low roar sound...cheers!
