I like the idea of stiching together displays. If the cost of a n pixel display is superlinear (eg: cost more than doubles for double the number of pixels), it makes sense to stich together cheap smaller displays to form a big display. Of course, there is a cost to the integration and there will be a optimal number of displays to minimize cost.
