This 80's movie directed by Joel Schumacher tells a story about a group of friends from Georgetown, struggling with passion, love, friendship, and their future after graduation. Lots of Brat Pack members joined the cast of "St. Elmo's Fire". It stars Rob Lowe, Demi Moore, Andrew McCarthy, Emilio Estevez, Judd Nelson, Ally Sheedy, and Mare Winningham. BTW I love the theme song by David Foster.

I love this theme song. Easily one of my all time favorite instrumentals. The cast in the movie is unfathomable, Andrew McCarthy, Rob Lowe, Judd Nelson, Mare Winningham, Ally Sheedy, Emilio Estevez, Demi Moore, Andie MacDowell, Martin Balsam, Gina Hecht and Whip Hubley (Hollywood from Top Gun). I love the cast, soundtrack and the film. It's an 80's gem, no doubt. It's better than all the other brat pack movies without question. Breakfast Club is a close 2nd but St. Elmo's Fire was the best.
