Dont promulgate that AJAX nonsense, its just a JavaScript Debugger.
I have yet to use XML in any of my "AJAX" applications. XML is great for describing data across multiple platforms, in practice parsing XML in Javascript is much slower than splitting a token delimited data string returned from any server.
Most of the magic is only Javascript.
