When you don't produce student identification in the library after 11:00 PM, you violate policy, which is trespassing and trespassing is a crime. The only way to enforce the law, after being asked to leave with no results, is with physical force (handcuffing, grabbing, or other). Using hands on physical force is more dangerous than using a taser. Hands on force can dislocate joints, strain muscles and break bones. These officers know what, "torture" is because they've been tased themselves.

What would you say to a police officer that was torturing you for no reason?! Put yourself in that poor man's shoes. He refused to show his student IC. The police officer was being a bully, and he told him after he got tased to screw off. I would have too. He told him not to touch him. He had NO right to even lay hands on this man.

Actually, in a lot of police standard operating procedures, backed by the law, using a taser on someone is equal to pepper spray (as ridiculous as it may sound). When you don't lawfully comply with an officer's command you may be legally tased. So I think your wrong their. When you don't have identification that is required by the school, you are in violation of policy and can be arrested for trespassing. Saying, "fuck off" to the officers doesn't help your case in making you look good.

Ken, you're an idiot. No police officer can justify tasering someone that is not a threat to their life. And I hear that if you taser someone more than twice in one day, you are disciplined. This poor man was tasered at least 3 times that I saw. You accept the "papers please" mentality of 1936 Germany? Why not move to China and save us your idiotic comments. I live in the USA, not Nazi Germany, or China, tyvm.

Notice the beginning of the video when the student was using a aggressive attitude toward the police officers...Notice that the two police officers telling him to get up at 1:26 secs after the police officers told him the third time, "the suspect told the police officers to, "fuck off"....that tells you that this individual was just trying to cause a scene....why would you tell a officer that was arresting you to fuck off, that just makes it even worse.....should've complied wit the police.....

I've been tased before. It sucks but its not life altering in any way. Takes about 3 seconds to recover from. He could have easily stood up and avoided the rest of his self inflicted punishment. This asshat got what he deserved. He was clearly making a scene for the sake of making a scene. Explain to me what else they were supposed to do that would have resolved the situation promptly? He didn't seem too interested in talking at all.
