it wasnt weather that did it, it was the fact that he changed his angle and it melted through itself. a rep. from BD did an analysis on the rope and said it was fine other than the fact that it melted through. it was an alpine rope I believe so it was made to take those conditions

It was a black dimond rope i think, but it wasnt faulty. It had been exposed to weather for weeks.

LOL cause he changed is angle of trajectory and the rope rubbed on itself and melted through. it was a BD rope, perfectly safe.
