My parents and my sister live in Doha, they love it. Warm yes, but the cheap petrol is great. :D I'll be over there on the 12th of October for 3 weeks, can't wait to check it out.

hey please dont critisize qatar. because its one of the few nations that actually helps out people all over the world. east-africa is benefiting from qatars wealth and oil deals in horn of africa. good ppl especially the wife of the ruler of qatar the sheikha

Maybe I've been a little too hard, but I didn't mean to offend anybody; I just wanted to explain what an european could think visiting Doha. I liked Doha, I liked Qatar,(even if I did not like much Qataries!) nevertheless I found there something strange that I never found in the other countries I visited, just what I was trying to explain. I think Yoe91 is right; moneeeey!!

Okay dude time out, I'm Qatari, i don't have that kinda car and neither do like 80% of the guys i know. And very little culture? You god damn profiler, you should talk to my grandfather sometime, you could write a fuckin book. As for racist, most of the population arent even Qatari, if we were all racist we'd have provoked a rebellion and got ourselves in some deep shit. we do have assholes, but they're in every country anyway. So dude, don't judge, it really pisses us off

Well it's simple really...forget the lack of culture or the mere 50 years of existence...there's not any need to criticize countries like Qatar. I've lived there all my life. And simply put buddy: there's MONEY MONEY MONEEEEEHHH. Only these three things. Forget about fun, anything at all hehe. It's no life there.
