As the title says, 'amazing'. Brilliant demonstration of mozart and other music genres. N for all those comments about it not being appropriate entertainment, then why did the audience laugh? I luv the lil twist on this music whilst using typical mozart accompaniments n stuff lol

Wow... what a beast.
I think it's the fact that he played all of those different styles (west coast swing, jazz, scotch, old time fiddle) and then went back to the mozart using all of the styles he had just demonstrated. Only to end it demonstrating that he still had an appreciation for the classical theory behind the Mozart. This is the ultimate demonstration of respect for musical style. Mozart would have appreciated it.

This was not really Mozarts idea. But if he would have lived closer to o ur times, and had some background of today, then, yes, maybe he would have enjoyed it and contributed. But then it wouldn't be mozrt anymore. It would be a person who we would speculate that if he had lived in the latter 17 humdreds, he could have been Mozart.
(Mozart, living today, would not be able to be the Mozart we all know)

I was with him during the whistling part, but I think after that some of it was just a little too self-indulgent and all over the place. I think it could have been really inspiring without all the jokey stuff
queenievenus (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Perhaps he is saying. Hey ! Look I am a great violinist but I'm a fiddler too, I think he is great, o.k. maybe purest will be offended. I hope Mozart would see the fun if he was around. |
