Hi, I really enjoyed your beginner lesson. I am training to be a music teacher and am researching Indian classical music at the moment and was totally confused about tala, tabla and what the different words like da and na was, but you've helped me out! thanks, I want to learn now! :-)

I think tabla would be replaced with hang.

Nice lesson. As for other viewers' complaints about "talking too much" -- this is a beginner lesson, and it's only 8 minutes long! It's important for him to describe the drum and how to play it properly.

Also, its called a basic lesson, you cannot teach at an expert level to apparent nubs such as urself... so please if you do have a comment that is not a complete and utter waste of screen please stfu.... |
