they had money to burn cus i used to beat double dragon arcade with 1 quarter, but this game kicked my azz at the arcade but i loved it and knew when to walk away.

this game was great,id play this my mum would be shouting your dinners ready,my brother would be kicking off it was his turn and my raleigh burner would be out the back yard! and everyone i knew "claimed" they could complete double dragon arcade game with 10p

one tip: you need to barrel roll more to up the style factor ;)

oh man we were never allowed to play this game cause we weren't old enough but my brother and i used to always play when my parents weren't around. this brings back some amazing memories!

I know what you mean. It IS possible to avoid the missiles after Stage 12 by keeping the plane fixed in the centre of the screen and simply moving it up and down to dodge them. It's still very difficult though!
I once made it to the end of Stage 18 but there is ANOTHER Flying Fortress there and you can't outrun it until it disappears from the radar like you could in Stages 6 and 12. Needless to say, it stole my last life! :-(

Try the Saturn version, it makes the Arcade version look like crap.

after like stage 12 or something one cant avoid missiles by leaning to the side...it gets very hard! but, I LOVE IT!!!

I could never get past area 13. For some reason I could never dodge the missiles. I used to throw fits of frustration when after probably 50 tries I could never pass level 13

I have the english version of this port that you put on top of the Sega Genesis. It's a Sega Base Converter or something... That sounded better that this. |
