You could be right, but since the fourth Indiana Jones movie is out and Harrison Ford is in talks for a fifth, I am going under the assumption that another trilogy is in the works.

ALPHA000102 - I had heard from another good friend who is also a big Indy fan that Lucas always intended to make at least five Indy movies. That is yet to be seen. Quite frankly it was a surprise to see this one. What would really be more fun is if Lucas could talk Harrison, Carrie Fisher , and Mark Hamill to do another StarWars film. Lucas originally wanted 9 SW films. Even if he didn't get Harrison or Carrie. One SW film with Mark Hamill now would be awesome. He would be the older wise jedi.

I'm with you. I love the Indiana Jones movies. It has been said that this one was the start of another trilogy and with Harrison Ford already in talks for the fifth film as Indy, I believe they're true. It's too bad Sean Connery didn't come out of retirement to play Dr. Heny Jones Sr. again since he was offered the role.

Ok this is my first comment on Indiana Jones. I loved these movies. And heres why. There ment to have fun. Who cares if Indys old? He's kicking ass!! People are tripping too much on the weirdest shit. Problems with aliens? Who cares? I love the fact that Lucas and Speilberg take you on the wildest ride they know how. Anyone who appreciates the sci fi pictures from the 50's and 60's would understand why they make these films. If you don't enjoy it your loss.

The idea with this movie was to entertain you. Not blow your mind with amazement like the other 3 did( or at least the 1st and 3rd). The 2nd one was good not great. The alien issue was really picked on but its not that big of a deal. I thought the movie was great. Only thing that was dumb and a complete waste was Mac. He was a dumb character. Besides that its a good flick.
