Bob Dylan performing Forever Young at the David Letterman Show World gone wrong was released: Oct 26, 1993 This performance aired on: Nov 18, 1993 Lyrics: May God bless and keep you always, May your wishes all come true, May you always do for others And let others do for you. May you build a ladder to the stars And climb on every rung, May you stay forever young, Forever young, forever young, May you stay forever young. May you grow up to be righteous, May you grow up to be true, May you always know the truth And see the lights surrounding you. May you always be courageous, Stand upright and be strong, May you stay forever young, Forever young, forever young, May you stay forever young. May your hands always be busy, May your feet always be swift, May you have a strong foundation When the winds of changes shift. May your heart always be joyful, May your song always be sung, May you stay forever young, Forever young, forever young, May you stay forever young.

Few people are in a class with Dylan, in fact come to think of it I can only think of 2 Ray Davies, and John Lennon.

dylan doesn't sound "pretty." never a sweet voice or a classic voice. he soke of a generation's frustration and upset and hope. and once a voice is attached to those things, one doesn't rate it on the basis of classic beauty. dylan was a poet and his poetry still stings and relates. he was also a great composer and a pretty good musician. for me, his early period was his greatest.i cannot think of a single contemporary musician who means as much to this generation as he did to his.
