Good to hear. Still, in my defense, that's why I put the bit in parentheses . . .

Fathead didn't get Ray messed up on dope. The movie got it wrong. I've had the pleasure of meeting and playing with him, and I can assure you that he is one of the kindest, most generous people you're likely to meet, and his playing is as sharp as ever.

hey! excuse me for having over 20 years of stage experience and being able to recocnise something realy amazing, as shown in this video...
good luck finding a band today that can play with that much intensity at this low a stage volume... is it possible that there are no musicians whom know what the volume knob is for?
ps, if you're not a singer, you will never know what I am talking about.

So that's the guy that got Ray fucked up on dope? (If the biopic can be trusted) He doesn't look too threatening but I guess you can never trust a man that can burn on the sax like that, haha, just kidding rest in peace doped up or not you're the fucking man . . . Ray Charles was the first time I heard legitimately good music in my ears.

Thats funny, Ray and I were playing water volleyball (against Elvis and Andy Kaufman) all day yesterday. And when it got dark they all went straight back to their boxes...So eh, I think that makes your dad a lier. Sorry...thumbs down.
