I love the music, and Steve Zodiac- he looks vaguely like Charleton Heston

I used to watch this show in 1963 and 64 in New York. I was a wee laddie. I grew up with an love the space program and aerospace and all the Gerry Anderson shows.

Always felt sorry for the poor gits who lived over the hill from the start-ramp. "Watchout Doris, here's comes another ruddy launch-bogie!"

Fireball XL-5 was my favorite show when I was 7 and 8. I sang the theme song at the end of every episode, and I had a crush on a puppet named Venus.
