Thank you so much for the support. It really does help when people leave positive supporting comments. It reminds me that I do this for a reason, to make people aware of the dangers of this drug. I know Fluoride is horrible too. It makes you question, why do they put it in our water when there are natural things that actually do protect your teeth from decay and won't harm you. when i saw the scar pattern i figured out right away what the defect was. i went through open heart surgeries with my ex's son. he was a fontan patient. all these people bashing you for taking paxil while pregnant need to do some research. paxil is supposed to be safe during pregnancy. high flouride content in the drinking water was blamed for josh's defect.i guess you're not supposed to drink water while pregnant either. stay strong and know that you aren't alone.

I have said it before and I will say it again. GET the WHOLE STORY before you comment. I just makes you look stupid if you don't. Take a little responsibility and read my blog before you talk about something you don't know about. Work for big pharma much?

I am sorry, you can pin this on GSK all you want, but you were the one not thinking when you sat there trying out antidepressants when you were pregnant. I sane person would get off all the crap if the got pregnant. I am sure you boy is great, and will have a wonderful life, but take a little responsibility as the person swallowed the pills. Moral of the story, if your going to carry a child, stop popping pills for 9 months.

Thank you for your comment. I have never been told that Manie will be alright and I have never been told that he will not be alright. Doctors never give you a straight answer. TO me he will always be here. I never even thought about will he be ok. I do not accept any other way then having Manie here with me. He will have surgeries in the future and always have to have procedures to make sure his heart is working properly. Thank you for your prayers and good thoughts. Julie

I was born with Congenital hip disease. Nothing as bad as your sons Issues. I know that I suffer from a huge amount of depression and pain from all I had to go through as a child. Please forward this guys, Because living with disability should not be from a drug company.

I agree...its like the children who were damaged by Thalidime(sp?)...women need to be informed of those things! :(

Well you are lucky you knew exactly when you were going to get pregnant. For some of us life throws us little surprises. However since I was in my childbearing years I would not have taken Paxil if GSK would have been honest and said no women of childbearing age should take Paxil. GSK STILL is not being HONEST and still wants women even pregnant women to take this drug(reason Y I speak out). I have four other children besides Manie all of whom were born physically healthy.
