I never said Iranian women get beat up by their families, nor did I imply it. I implied they get beat up by their government, which they do. The Iranian People live like slaves, they are not free in the least, though I hope for their liberation some day. Most Iranians who are outside of Iran had the money to escape, and to pay for their education. Notice that it is the Iranians OUTSIDE of Iran, like Anousheh Ansari who are liberated. Not the Iranians who are still INSIDE Iran, in a dictatorship.

If Iranians are "sand niggers" then Norway is a desert. People who usually say that have got no knowledge of Iran's climate or geography. When they hear the word "Iran" they see pictures of Baghdad with the Palm trees and the hot sun and they don't care if that is not Iran. We all know that Iran mostly consists of mountains and that our country is so much different from the stupid stereotypes of some ignorant people.

KPrandom, although Iranian women's clothing is strictly and unfairly regulated in Iran, the use of the "burka" is as foreign to Iran as it is to the US. The "burka" is worn in other countries, but never in Iran.

ancalagon1 They get "beaten up" by the islamicregime, and not by their fathers or brothers for getting educated. It's actually more common in Iran that women attain Universities (70% of the students in Universities in Iran are women). Iranians OUTSIDE of Iran, like Anousheh Ansari are as "liberated" and educated (if not more) than any other Western lady.

skott66 tell me what makes you think that Anousheh Ansari is a "terrorist"? Are you plain stupid or just ignorant? "Oh yeah, Anousheh looks like a terrorist- Look at the burka she's wearing " and never mind the fact that she fled Iran for the very reason that she was AGAINST the regime of Iran. Since when are Iranian decent PEOPLE (not government) terrorists?

Hey any of you space heads got any of my films on independent space and planet exploration? I did a few one title Space and Mars exploration film on location and some other solar planets back in the sixties the one with the little blue eyed boy or the original star trek, star wars befor rodberry, and lucaus made it a illusion.
