GSP's ground skills are pretty amazing. But as far as being the BEST mma fighter? I'd put BJ, Fedor, and even Kid above him. Anderson vs GSP is a good fight in my opinion, one that George would win, because of Silva's overated grappling.
1) Fedor
2) Penn
3) Yamamoto
4) G.S.P.
5) Anderson

well i had a few beers for that comment...I was distracted by the tv...whatever! I suppose I would love to see any of the gracie fellas winning. Nick Diaz didn't get there, maybe nate might do it but he is a way off yet. Maybe Shields might get Matt Serra lucky.

yea man totally the guy got beat in a competition dont make excuse for him now, great mma fighter but theirs no need for the dicksucking thats going on by some of these guys. In BJJ you will lose many times and win many times on the path to greatness

And Georges got armbarred from a whitebelt-level kimura attempt he was performing [from half guard] by a white belt hillbilly. SEE Hughes/GSP I.
Much more embarrassing than getting flying heelhooked by Chonan, who actually trains submissions.

GSP is a mixed martial artist who years ago, got flying arm-barred at a grappling tournament, unlike Silva, who got flying heel-hooked in an actual MMA match.

There is a lot of blatant unabashed nuthuggery going on here. Interestingly enough, it is FOR the fighter who got flying armbarred in a minute.
A lot of hypotheticals about what GSP can or cannot do, but he had the chance to shine at ADCC, and he got tapped QUICK.
GSP has a better resume than Fedor? Better than A. Silva? Maybe at amount of words typed per minute or something, not at fighting. You're a worthless nutthugging fanboy if you think otherwise.

GSP's BJJ skills are as good as world champions now fool, this was 3 or 4 yrs ago, have Leo try him now, wont even be close. GSP trains in Brazil with master of BJJ. GSP has size, strength, skill, mental, intelligence, sdeep, explosiveness, best TDD in all of MMA and is by far the best athelete. Like Fitch said, " i know GSP was fast, but not that fast, speed kills man it really does" Fitch is the 2nd best WW in the world and GSP is way above anyone in his division. |
