I had the same problem with my kickflips.
You just gotta keep practicing.
All I did was practice until I figured out how to just put my foot back on the board after flipping.

what happens is i get one foot on it, but my front foot (my right) ends up on the side of the board next to it. please someone tell me what im doing wrong
