i found the bass in death magnetic was sort of.... not there.. bass guitar, i mean. you could hear it in that part you were referring to but once the guitars come in they just let it go.

Dude they got softer during the black album, and then got rid of the guitar solo's on Saint Anger, so they calmed down allot. Even Metallica said they did. They are back... BACK WITH THE HEAVY!!! BACK WITH THE METAL!!! BACK WITH THE METALLICA!!!!!!!!!!!
