i was born in 1990. but i read a booko from 80's where he mentions watching mtv religisouly and i also saw the devil and daniel johnston. where daniel johnston is also obsessed with mtv. i faintly remeber mtv plying some good alt. music. but so funny today the kinda shit thats on there huh. its like mtv sold out

nah there's great music out there i was more talking about the state of the current music scene. i kinda think music (at least rock) has gone as far as it can go and everything from now on is either recycled, ironic or minimalist. my generation will be remembered for emo nu rave. shit
