I had Elaine as a teacher. She was young, beautiful and brilliant. I want to hear her, not Charlie

But she admits that Christianity is part of the "architecture of the culture and architecture of the mind". Claims to possessing gnosis recognizes no hierarchy of values: it is the father of intramundane eschatologies and money changers.

Jesus Christ (pun intended)! Charlie's attempts at interviewing Elaine seems laughable at best. He's absolutely disinterested with Elaine's work, and pushes in his own political views and mainstream Christian to cover up for his ignorance on Elaine's vast research. His bizzare questioning against American Christian fundamentalism and whatnot has completely nothing to do with the beginnings of Christianity. He should've just let Elaine do all the talking.

I would like to say that I think Elaine Pagels is a beautiful and smart lady that deserves a great deal of respect for here studies into the Gospel of Thomas.

This was good. However, if you would like constructive criticism, I was interested in the Pagels interview only. Maybe you could post sections separately. But dont get me wrong, I am grateful to have seen Elaine. Thanks, again.
