As usual Indian government gave award because he received Oscar. Why Indians did not see his contribution on global cinema in the first place. I hope legend like Satyajit Ray in future is recognize on time.

Thank you so much Kitano for posting this fabulous series. Ray's life and his works have been my inspiration for years and will be so for rest of my life. Being another bengali, I have been blessed with the chance to know him closely.
