Good sound!, I played a gig with Amen Corner back in 82-83 in bristol, we were the support act, at that time they changed their name to ''Fred Stoat and the rocking rodents of swing....true!.....glad to see they changed the name back to the New Amen Corner!.....

New Amen Corner are the hottest band on the 60s circuit! This is a good clip but doesn't do them full justice. Go and see them live. Looking forward to having them at Amersham on Saturday, June 7 with Steve "Everlasting Love" Ellis. See this band and you've seen the best!!!

wish i was born in the 60's,the music of my time's rubbish compared to this! i only found this through andy fairweather-low playing with roger waters band.a good find.

Welcomed comment from PZK12 (ex-BBC). Re the camera work; this footage is for FUN on an evening out, surrounded by the audience and right in the thick of it, without tripod etc.
Professionals please remove your hat now and again, and appreciate the amateurs for what they create with limited resources and consider the mitigating circumstances etc. Personally I would not have it any other way, far too clinical and 'soul less'.FUN !!!

Excellent gig from an excellent band, who are keeping the Amen Corner name alive with some great shows, and now two live cd's. go check 'em out, probably the best 60's show on the circuit!!! |
