Edie's story is like her sister's. She said her father came on to her when she was a little girl, which she didn't like. He did little to hide his adultery, and this bothered her very much as a child. He could be cruel,especially to her sensitive brother Minty. He drove Minty to a breakdown and he committed suicide. She did have a story of being drugged and raped, as a woman.
