Larry Bird's mind was like a computer. In his head he had a mental image of the basketball court with all the players from both teams moving about. That's the only we he could make those passes. Also, he practiced and played so much he could look down at the basketball court to see the floor markings and from that pinpoint his position on the court in reference to the basket thus allowing hemi to get his shot of so quickly with his back was to the goal.

as good as larry bird was, he couldnt bring the celtics up to the upper echelon of the nba like wilt the stilt did with philly or joe d and isiah did with the pistons. i mean, the celtics just plain old suck flacid shemale penis. just because david stern feels the need to cover up crooked refs and have the other ones systematically put the other truly great teams out of the running, doesnt make the celtics any good. that just makes them patsys for a nazi commandante in herr stern.

definately not dude larry certainly wasnt an athletically based player he always played with pure skill kobe might score more one on one ... but for your team there is no better than the bird
