It's 11 strings if it's the same guitar he normally uses. I play a 10-string myself for baroque stuff. His is probably tuned GABCDEADGBE and he would probably tune the extra bass strings to the key you're in or to sympathetic notes. The videos on here never do these instruments justice though, the extra strings truly make it sound superior to a normal guitar in resonance, balance and volume.
