Keep in mind this is a straight-forward remake of the original application, with minimal overhead. If you're a UI designer you can certainly make this a lot more efficient - for example with overlays and animations. SVG makes that all possible and this video just scratches the surface.

It looks like anti-advertisement of SVG. Original application seems to be actually more straight to the point when second one is simply creating more "entertaining" distraction with no practical use. I'd be more happy to see the map when Zoom In/Out is loading instead of "nice animation". In case when it isn't an option I'd rather see NOTHING then more distraction then blank screen creates itself.
I do believe SVG is great technology, but this demo is rather showing the opposite.

Hi andcastello,
SVG has no premade widgets. You will have to implement T9 yourself. This is actually already done in the Radical SVG GUI Makeover code so you can simply reuse the code.
