as i said. The label it a poor description and it leads to unsightly constructions like "little balls"
It's kind of hard to image an explosion that is not IN SPACE but an explosion of SPACE ITSELF.

If some questions don't need or want to be answered, then why am I intrested? The bad thing about it is that it can't be answered scientifically. There is no possible way to prove that the universe just formed. That's why creationists take so much crap. The difference, they fill the hole where anyone who doesn't believe in creationism leaves. Even if someone does believe in the Big Bang, where did that little ball of energy come from?

Some questions don't want or need to be answered. Sometimes questions are ask rhetorically. There is not necessarily an answer to your question. Evidence seems to be that matter and energy are eternal and infinite. There was a phase change 15BYA that limits our data gathering. A satirical fool called it a big bang. Though it is the worst possible description, the name stuck as a label for the event.
