he's way better than Michaela Petri. He's got amazing technique and consummate musicality to boot.

Honestly, I don't have a clue either, I can't even play a 6 strigned guitar.

Actually... I have to say I think i've heard better. Try Michala Petri. This guy disappointed me the way he just walked off at the end. As if it is all about him. Well okay.. it kind of is - but you should stay for the applause for the others too....

You're absolutely right :) But Donald Trump here also plays the Mandolin. I got it wrong though - I don't know how people can play a lute like that - so many strings!

That would be a "lute" not a mandolin... Mandolins have four courses with two equally tuned strings in each course and they are tuned as a violin, a lute has 6-15 courses and isn't quiet as bright, also I do believe that the individual strings in a course usually tuned an octave appart.

This is pretty cool actually.

I've played for 20 years. I like to say "it's easy to play, it's hard to play *well*". That tends to quiet folks. That, and playing a Telemann Sonata for them. Yes, it's woefully underrated.I'm working on this piece now as an exercise really, cuz it would probably take me 5 years to get it any where close to this level, practicing daily.
