Really? I think he (SAW) would smile. He'd be happy his ummah was having fun. I don't think there's anything immodest about girls screaming when their country's name comes up. Heck, there are guys screaming too.
Now if you want to argue that the woman's voice is Awrah, then you have to accept the existence of another, equally legitimate opinion too.

Stop bickering guys. Listen to the song. And what do you know what is haram or halal. Are u a sheikh?

also, what do u think the Prophet (S) would say if he saw this. this is supposed to be an Islamic gathering. Brother Dawud is singing about Islam, u dont go screaming and wooting. Now, if one were screaming "Allahu Akbar", thats different. its wonderful to scream Allah (SWT)'s name.

And that is exactly what the women r doing in this, they r screaming int he background. a muslim needs to be modest. and when women r doing this, that is disobeying the manners muslims should observe. this is coping the act that the kufaar do when they attend concerts.

What, you guys have an issue with people having fun? Concerts are lively, and there's nothing wrong with that. Islam doesn't inhibit fun, it inhibits WRONG fun.

i totally agree. i wondered y my mother wouldn't let me go to his concerts and alhamdulillah, i understood.

Don't listen to the lyrics and with all the woots and screeching its easy to confuse this performance with any other of those which are considored haram.
This is Qawwali keeping up with the times... I have nothing against these performances, and I appreciate what people like Dawud Wharnsby are trying to achieve... I just don't get it when the culture of swooning fans is imported into what is essentially to be a distancing from the un-Islamic ways of life...
