Suuuure, I could hate mankind and society and stuff too, but I choose not to. Why? I find it irrational, pessimistic and useless. I choose to believe in culture, technology, and salvation through the evolution of both. Even thinking about "returning to Mother Earth", if it means what I think it means, makes me nauseous. Throwing away cultural evolution and heritage worth thousands of years, our most unique and wonderful aspect, would be an atrocity.

All your talk about mankind's destruction, brought upon it by itself, of Mother Nature's revenge and whatnot. Don't you doomsayers ever consider the possibility that mankind will save itself? I mean, cultural heritage and evolution can do anything. Predicting the future, what we will do/will happen to us is impossible.
