their forgotten hit. great song. i remember my cousin from canada was visiting. this came on MTV and she uttered the band name/song name so disgustedly. "what a 'c' ", i thought.

I'm not saying you're wrong cos you can't be wrong about an oppinion. There are very many rocksingers(singers in any genre really) that sings just as good LIVE as in studio. I cna mention loads if you want. Control is(like most people do know or should at least know) an illusion that you think is real but it isn't. You can never control anything.

Noddy certainly doesn't have the 'vocal gymnastic' skills of some others (very few rock singers do), but his control, pitch, tone and power are absolutely outstanding. And he is one of the minority of rock singers who actually sings live just as good as studio. I suppose it helps that i love Slade music, but i stand 100% behind my opinion that he is one of the greatest rock singers of all time. Oh and by the way, i've been a musician and singer for 30 years, and been through music college. |
