I've been doing some research on this matter and also David Icke does have some good information about the symbolism of "Owls". Apparently, the owls represent the Babylonian Goddess Semiramis. There's a picture somewhere on the internet that shows her with two owls on each side. Also found on a ancient babylonian coin is the same Goddess Semiramis depicted pretty much like the Statue of Liberty and Virgin Mary of Vatican.
