To further the mayan calendar debate... Im guessing it was just the most educated and open minded people of the region collaborating to make a working calender for as long as they could imagine their particular society functioning. Then some leader stepped in and revealed to them that there would probably be a better calendar system at or before that date. People that think the world is going to end Jan. 1 2012 are fear mongers. Worse than those millenium computer people.

We don't use it because they got conquered and the west didn't want to switch to using some system from a bunch of "wilds" living in the jungle, now would they? Lloyd Pye isn't directly linked (as far as know) to the Mayans, but he presents a scientificly based case to prove that the Sumerian tablets tell the truth about how man was created by an alien race. The evidence is right in our chromosomes. Question is, can you accept it?

Can i be sure 100% about what happened the distant past? no. Can you? no. The thing however is that what is written in the Sumerian tablets, just makes a LOT more sense to me than "the establishment's point of view". It ties everything together in a very plausible way, IF you're willing to "think outside of the box" ;)
