Absolutley brilliant. Before the days of CGI syncronised swimming hippo's and the like. I remember someone writing into a show called 'how do they do that?' (hosted by Eammon Holmes in the 90's) and being amazed that all they did was tilt the camera to one side and spill paint over the '2'. Quality though, and I agree with everyone - bring it back!

Best ever idents !!. I miss them. I can remember being as young as 3 in 94 watching programs such as playdays and seeing these idents come on .

I love these old ones, they remind my of the 90s/00s. I also wrote a letter back in november and they said they have put the idea into the log. But if people keep on writing in to the bbc about the bbc 2 idents, then, maybe they might take note and change the idents back the 90/00 ones.:) This montage is really good. Well done.
