READ BEFORE COMMENTING! Jayne Wisener as Johanna in SWEENEY TODD.Pitch lowered with AUDACITY. Common things I find in Comments explained. 1. I used a free program called AUDACITY 2. This is not about making the actress sound better or worse (or the character for that matter). As a fan of the musical I realise the character is written a certain way. 3. THIS IS ONLY ABOUT DISPLAYING AN EXPERIMENT IN CHANGING PITCH Please keep these in mind when commenting.

Well, when it comes to actually singing a song, any song can be sung anyway you want--you just need to go through the song and have the score arranged in your key. Changing the pitch only effects how one praticular person sounds. Changing the key would make it possible to actually sing it the way you, or any other person, would.

Pretty damn good!! I was wondering if you could sing it differently with a lower pitch and it actually sounds really good

Actually, an Australian (sp?) actress by the name of Mia Wasikowska will be playing the role of Alice in 2010 :)

It sounds a bit like the older style of singing from older musicals.

The change made her sound older.
