There was anti-semitic violence in Kielce and Jedwabne in 1941. But to compare the extent that Poles murdered Jews to the Nazi Holocaust, or even worse to suggest the two are the same is absurd. 3 million gentile Poles were murdered by the Nazis. Have you read the article? He makes ridiculous historical and geographical mistakes throughout eg Poland near to Serbia! He probably thinks that the Katyn Massacre was committed by the Nazis. As for 'race', im not interested in a definitional debate.

So the Poles and Irish "races" rather than nations? That's absurd. It's got nothing to do with racism. Coren was referring to Polish anti-semitic violence after the war had ended, for example in the town of Kielce in 1946.

In Real: In Auschwitz was several Poles henged because they tryed to help Jew`s out of the concentration camp... Polish civilist was killed in the camps too, who helped Jew`s or was Political enemys. Giles Coren is a racist. Check out his article about Poles in 'The Times' and the leaked email, discussed in 'The Guardian', in which he insults the Irish. Both papers are readily available online. He is an embarrassment to 'The Times' and to Oxford University. He got a First in English yet resorts to four letter words and derogatory offensive terminology.

Have to agree. Giles is yummy! Like to think that alot of he says is fairly tongue in cheek, but mainly I'm just happy to look at him.
