Voi Vod were gods. They have redfined idesd about heavy music and were doing it 20 years ahead of everyone from their tunings to arrangements and riffs. You can hear their influence of King Crimson through out their career. Whats great about Voi Vod is you can always put their music on and feel like your back in 88 or 89, more so than with other bands. Theres only one Voi Vod, RIP Piggy.

I agree that Killing Technology,Dimension Hatross and Nothingface all were incredible albums. A much underrated band. Nobody sounds like Voivod. KT is prolly my favorite out of the 3.

voivod was just one level above many bands....especially those 3 albums from "killing technology","dimension hatross" and "nothingface" u listen to SOOOOOO many musical ideas fused together in a BEST OF BEST harmong way that i never seen in any other band!!!!!!

one of the top three thrash metal bands of the 80's Voivod, Slayer and Metallica best album of voivod was either killing technology thrash wise or Nothing face prog rock wise but I love this track for its tribal drumming at the beginning.. 20 years on I still listen to voivod only Bathory can match that and their viking period
