Does anyone want to take bets on how many years it will be before Adobe goes belly up with a tandoori at the helm?
Not to mention people like Anil Bhavnani and Lily Tran - who runs the Acrobat project.
Just look at what they did to Sun - it's all Indians and Chinese and their stock is at SEVEN dollars. Apple's is at $170. LOL. This is the result of Tandoori and noodle-shop owners trying to do software.

The best thing as an American that you can do when you are asked to TRAIN your filthy tandoori replacement is to WALK OUT. Drop the whole project in the company's lap and just WALK. No notice, no nothing. Drop it in their laps. LET THEM FLAIL AND LET THEM FAIL. Without your training, their cheap labor is actually a LOSS to them. Make them laying you off COST them money and this will stop REAL quick.

You know, one of my favorite pastimes has become deliberately screwing over IT companies. It works like this: they see my awesome resume, I agree to write a product for them and train their morons at the end. So I charge them $80/hr and write the product but then at the end I just drop the whole thing in the lap and disappear - without training their morons. I am totally offshore so they can't find me. I get the big $, they end up with a good product and no one to maintain it. HA HA!

That's what I've actually been considering the last year or so. I spend so much of my spare time re-training myself just to attain some job security which will obviously never happen in this market now. I may as well just write an application I can sell.
You're right about these companies eventually going under. That's how it went where I was. Maybe, smaller companies will begin springing up to fill the lurch of these big corps that do this stuff. That could be our saving grace.

I say: start our own tech companies, retain control of them, and then don't hire lawyers, marketing bimbos, or foreign guest workers. Hire 100% Americans and do it yourself. The fact is, every company these guest workers touch dies. So make your own company and put them out of business. Once you have control, you won't need "a job" not will you need to worry about scumbags like this.

And what most Americans do not know if the rampant Anti-Americanism of both Indians and Chinese we import. Both of these countries hate us because of historical issues regarding "Western powers". England invaded India 150 years ago. England also tricked the Chinese into giving them control of HK in 1898. Now it's PAYBACK time. We let millions of them in, they get into our companies, then they won't hire Americans. That is the real reason Americans can't find jobs!

Our Government has cast us into Globalization against our consent, and turned our profession into a jobs program.

I don't think it's your right to avoid hiring Americans. You're just another skumbag that got rich off the past accomplishments of AMERICANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ONCE WE CREATE THE PRODUCT YOU SELL, YOU GO INTO MAINTENANCE MODE WITH YOUR LOW-PAID WORKERS EVERY CHANCE YOU GET!!
